THEMES

ALLINGTON WITH SEDGEBROOK CHURCH OF ENGLAND PRIMARY SCHOOL, Grantham, Lincolnshire (NEW SCHOOL)
"Breaking Free"

The performance is based on the concept of having the confidence to be yourself. Our dance starts with a group of children who are uniform in their actions. The costumes chosen reflect their lack of individuality. One child breaks free and proves to others that it is good to have your own identity, to break free and follow your dreams.

AMBERGATE SPORTS COLLEGE, Grantham, Lincolnshire
"Jungle Party"

A jungle party ! When we try our hardest we can do the impossible.

BELMONT PRIMARY SCHOOL, Grantham, Lincolnshire
"Global Stomp"

Join "Global Stomp" in their journey around the world and explore different cultures and traditions as they stomp across continents, tapping their toes to lots of different beats.

COLSTERWORTH CE PRIMARY SCHOOL, Grantham, Lincolnshire
"We Are Australia"

Aboriginals believe when Earth was new-born it was without any features or life. No waking time, no sleeping time. Time split apart, Dreamtime emerged. From the waterholes, Ancestors arose, singing their way around the world. Australia remained an Aboriginal nation until the arrival of transported prisoners from England. The determination of these early settlers forged the spirit of modern Australia.

THE GRANTHAM PREPARATORY SCHOOL, Grantham, Lincolnshire
"One World"

Every part of our world is linked. The cities, rainforests and polar ice may seem separate but they are interdependent. We will show you how the harmony of nature is disturbed by man and his machines. Destroying the rainforests leads to the ice melting, until we are left with only the seas. Hope lies in us learning to live together.

THE NATIONAL CHURCH OF ENGLAND JUNIOR SCHOOL, Grantham, Lincolnshire
"Step in Time"

2009 is our school's 150th BIRTHDAY ! It was founded by the church way back in 1859 ! Many, many pupils have stepped through its doors and gone on to achieve great things ... just like we are hoping to do. Sit back and let us take you through the pages of history as we "Step in time" through the decades.

ROPSLEY CE PRIMARY SCHOOL, Ropsley, Grantham (NEW SCHOOL)
"The Power of Friendship"

Good evening and welcome to our performance, which is about bullying and how it affects children. Tonight we will show you that the power of friendship is stronger than any bully. The performance contains three songs that we feel will help portray our important message. We hope we get our point across and you enjoy watching us.

SPITALGATE C OF E PRIMARY SCHOOL, Grantham, Lincolnshire
"Under the Sea"

"Under the Sea" is a performance trying to show the effects of sea pollution on creatures on the ocean bed and the operations used to clean up oil spills.

ST MARY'S RC PRIMARY SCHOOL, Grantham, Lincolnshire
"A tribute to felines around the world"

We explore the purr-sonalities of: BIG CATS, small cats, stray cats and killer cats. Cats that roar, cats that purr and cats that DANCE !!
